Welcome

          The workshop will focus on the latest developments regarding the organization, at national scale, of the computing support for ESFRIs and other relevant research infrastructures. Current topics on the directions and best practices for establishing and implementing the Research Infrastructure Roadmap will be reviewed. Solutions for data archiving, high-throughput, high-performance and cloud computing will be presented.

          Held under the auspices of the National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation (ANCSI) and of the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI), this event will join together policy makers, stakeholders, leaders of EGI virtual research communities, e-IRG delegates, representatives of research infrastructures and of the national research communities.

          The workshop, which will be hosted on the premises of Horia Hulubei National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering, is co-organized by EGI and the Romanian Grid Infrastructure (NGI-RO).
